What are New Moon Tides
Oceanic tides are higher and lower than normal during a new moon because the sun, moon, and Earth align. This alignment creates stronger gravitational forces that pull on the ocean's water. Treasure hunters call these New Moon Tides and prefer the lower tides because they can hunt in lower areas without dealing with seawater.
