  Our Story: LMS Metal Detecting originated in the late eighties by three friends that shared a passion for treasure hunting. What started out as quest to locate an unnamed treasure has evolved over the years into very large band of brothers and sisters. While the treasure still remains lost, we found our way into the commercial realm of metal detecting to include, live learning courses, lost jewelry recovery services, tour guides, and a retail store offering metal detecting gear.

Since the beginning of 2017, we offer short term metal detector and sand scoop leasing options for those vacationing in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas, or for anyone that would like to try metal detecting before committing to a purchase.

While LMS Metal Detecting, LLC has grown we still retain our group status of well-respected and trusted friends with backgrounds of active duty and retired police officers, government security, history teachers, anthropologists, historians, research analysts, and more.
