    M9 Coil

"The M9 is pretty much my go to coil it is very easy to swing weight wise very comparable to the Deus 9 inch coil, I used it at the beach for the first time and it swings in the water without much effort."

    Manticore M9 Coil

"Great service, price, packing & delivery from Mike at LMS. I ordered from the shop in Murrells Inlet, SC on a Monday afternoon and had it sitting on my doorstep on Tuesday in Concord, NC (just north of Charlotte). Other than throwing about a dozen coins on my driveway I have not used the coil in the field yet. What I observed from my brief test is promising. It seemed to lock in on a target ID quickly with less ID spread that I typically observe with my M11. I only observed an ID target variance of 2 that was very repeatable. I also started with a sensitivity of 20 which is typically what I stick with in my area. I reduced sensitivity and continued to test each target. At a sensitivity of 3 I still had a great response holding the coil 4 to 6" above the target. I did not even attempt to lower the sensitivity any further. I was confident enough in the coil at that level of 3 sensitivity that I think that will be my "go to" sensitivity setting for seeded hunts where I expect the target will be no more than 2 to 4 inches deep. At that sensitivity it should greatly cut down on picking up deeper junk targets the ground is littered with..... and thereby reduce picking up targets that I am not interested in thereby diverting my attention during a seeded hunt."
